This post requires you to analyse the strengths and aims of the charity and represent them to funders to procure relevant funding.
You will
• find and apply for grants, monitor expenditure, and feed back to funders and trustees.
• liaise with other employees and volunteers to develop excellent team working.
The successful candidate will have a strong desire to see the aims of Lucky Ewe achieved and will contribute creatively to the work of the charity. They will be able to work flexibly from home, having the necessary office space and internet access for their own use.
Specifically:
• Source and complete applications and reports to funders.
• Monitor and feed back to Trustees on funding progress.
• Provide regular updates to Trustees.
• Undertake project development to increase and diversify the capacity of Lucky Ewe.
• Develop partnership working opportunities.
Essential skills and qualifications
Experience in funding, fundraising and finance, and a successful record of accomplishment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly.
Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Microsoft 365 (specifically on Share Point).
